In traditional moonspeak haiku, kireji (切れ字, literally “cutting word“) is meant to provide “a dignified ending… a heightened sense of closure… emotional flavour to the phrase preceding it.” (courtesy of our friends at Wikipedia)

Well, we don’t give a fuck about that shit. Kireji the blog is all about blatant, unadulterated otaku commentary. Each week, we’ll provide you with regular fixes of flaming rants, satirical analyses (is that even a word?), and gushing fanboyism on animu/mango/whatnot.

Unlike your typical viewer, however, we have standards. We are no foreigners to the seamy, epic underworld of otaku culture. Keep watching this spot for all our takes on the latest anime-related releases, products, and phenomena.
